Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and praised be your name forever and ever. Thank you for bringing me the gift of life today. Thank you for blessing me with this Sabbath day. For in six days you created the heavens above, the earth below and all that is within; and on the seventh day you rested from all your work. You blessed the seventh day and declared it holy because it was on this day that you rested. I just pray that our rest is as enjoyable as your rest. I pray that today is a day we dedicate to you and remember that all we have we have from you.
Thank you for all your blessings. Thank you for my beautiful wife who's virtues come from your heart. Kim led me to you and you led her to me, and I can never thank you enough for this love you have shown me. Thank you for blessing me with a family full of love, understanding and wisdom. Thank you for blessing me with the gift of your Torah, my guide to a wonderful life in your Kingdom. Thank you for loving me so much you gave me your son and sacrificed Him for my sins, and through Him, you redeemed me, and have blessed me with eternal life. No greater sacrifice can ever be made, and I am so grateful to you, and to have someone who's mercies are never ending be my God. I am forever your servant.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who set the Sabbath day apart from the week just as He set us, His children, apart from the nations.
Amen!
