Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised throughout the heavens and the Earth forever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for your gift of Shabbat, for giving us one day each week to remember you and to set it apart from the rest of our week. In six days you created the heavens above and the Earth below and all that is contained in them. On the seventh day you rested and you declared the seventh day holy because on it you rested from all the work which you had done. Thank you for all your works and for delivering us from our bondage. Thank you for giving us love.
Thank you my Father for all the blessings in my life, but mostly for the people you have brought into my life. Everyone you bring into my life adds something to my soul, and gives me an opportunity to grow and become a better servant to you and to them.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who grants us peace, love, blessings, wisdom and joy.
