Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and praised be your name forever and ever.
Thank you for blessing me with the gift of life today, thank for your grace and allowing me to reach this Sabbath day. Thank you for all your great works in creation and in freeing us from bondage. Thank you for bringing wisdom to the world and for opening our hearts to that wisdom.
Thank you for your loving mercy. Thank you for loving us so much that you gave us your only begotten son to give us eternal life. That sacrifice you made for us is simply overwhelming and I shall ever be in your debt for the love you've shown us.
Thank you for your gift of Torah, our guide to living the life you have have blessed us with. Thank you for the love of my family, and especially for bringing Kim into my life, she is truly a blessing from your heart to mine.
Thank you for this gift of Shabbat, for giving us a day where we can stop our worldly activities and reconnect with you through our spirit. Your wisdom is beyond compare.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who has blessed us with this Sabbath day.
