Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. May you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love. May you protect me, my family, and my home from evil and may you remove temptation from our lives. May you grant me a forgiving heart so that I may freely grant mercy, even when it is undeserved. Father, please bless me with peace, and with a home where your spirit may always dwell.
Father, I pray you keep my mother and my sister safe during this storm in the Caribbean. Please protect them and their homes, and comfort them in your arms during the violence of the seas. May you make my mother's journey smooth and may you guide the hands of the Captain and crew so she may have safe passage.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who guides us with His love and His mercy.
