Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Father, I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word. I ask that you protect me, my family and my home from evil, and that temptation is removed far from us. Please grant me a heart of forgiveness so that I may grant mercy freely, just as you have granted it to me.
Father, thank you for bringing Kim into my life, she is a gift from your heart to mine; and one that I shall treasure forever. Please keep her safe from the evil in this world. Please guard her always and bring wisdom into her heart. Let her hear your voice and reveal to her those things you wish her to know. Father, I beg that you keep her safe always, and that you receive all the glory for all your wondrous works. For you delivered us from bondage and fulfilled all of your promises to us, your children. You are our God and we are your people. Our hope and trust is in you.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who is the creator of the heavens above and the earth below, and everything that lies within.
