Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and live in your Kingdom. Please protect us from evil and drive temptation from our lives. Please heal Kim and I, and restore our health. Please heal David and restore his health - fully. Father, please grant me a forgiving heart so that I may be merciful with others as you have been with me.
Father, please protect my sister during this storm you are unleashing. May you steer the storm away from land and save countless people from destruction and ruin. May you show mercy on them and grant them safety from your judgment. You are our King, and you are our salvation. I have chosen you to be my God, and you have chosen me to be one of your set-apart ones. You have laid out for me a path and are guiding me along that path. May I never lose sight of your face, and may you always make my way smooth, straight, and peaceful.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who gives us a choice of life or death, I choose life.
