Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world. Father, I pray you grant me the strength and wisdom to walk your word; that every thought I think, every word I utter, and every action I take brings honor and glory to your name. I pray for an extra dose of patience today and that my spirit remain calm as I meet with people who are not of you, and who have darkness in their souls. May you remove that darkness and give them your light. May they have an attitude of unity instead of division, may today be a day of peace.
Father, please rescue your children who have fallen and are living in darkness. May you remove the scales from their eyes, and the veil from their heart. Please Father, turn their eye towards you, and place repentance in their hearts. Gather your children from the four corners of the earth and set them on your narrow path. Bring peace to the land and remove wickedness from our presence so that we may dwell in your glory forever.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who calls on His children to turn to Him and He grants them peace.
