Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath Day, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world. Thank you for blessing me with a family that is filled for love for each other and love for you. Thank you for blessing us with your protection, your strength, your truth, your love and your mercies.
Thank you for giving us the gift of your Torah, your holy word and our tree of life. Your word is filled with your wisdom, your guidance, your prophecies, your judgments, your truth. Your Torah is our guide to living a long blessed life, and tells us how to show your love to others.
Thank you for all your mercies. Thank you for forgiving me the debt of my sins, thank you for your understanding and your compassion. Thank you for showing me how to be compassionate with others, and for teaching me how to forgive others as you have forgiven me.
Thank you for loving me so much that you gave us your Son, Yeshua, so that I may have a life filled with your glory. Thank you for suffering through his pain so that my pain may be healed. Thank you for showing me that the greatest love in the world is giving your life for another. It was a lesson well learned and one that I take to heart.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who blessed us with this Sabbath Day so that we may remember who it is that grants us all we have in this world.
