Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to be with those I love and to be your light in the world. Father I pray that you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your light today; I pray that every thought I think, every word I utter, and every action I take brings honor and glory to your name.
Father, I pray you open the hearts of those living darkness. When we live our lives in sin, a life without you we are in complete darkness; but, through your abounding grace a mercy you call to us and you say, "Let their be light, and there was and you saw the light and it was good." When you cut through that darkness with your light we are no longer living our lives alone, because you have touched our soul with your breath of life; and it is good." Father, please do not cease removing the veils from the hearts of those who do not know you. Continue to bring the light to the world.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who created the heavens above and the earth below, who brought us His light and gives us His mercy and love.
