Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my God and may your name be praised for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and giving me life. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend time with those I love and to be your light to the world. Father, I pray you grant me strength and wisdom today to walk and live by your word, to remember your commands, and to keep them close to my heart. May your revelations come into my spirit and may you loosen all hardness of my heart and allow your love to flow freely through me. Thank you for restoring my health, and your continued healing touch to bring me back to full strength. You are my armor and your word is my sword. I ask that you protect me and my family from all harm, all evil and all temptation, and let your love keep us safe and strong.
Father, please come quickly and free us from the insanity let loose in this world. Ever since you freed us from Egypt people have been killing people for land, for wealth and for power. Although this has been going on in the Earth for millenniums, it is but a tick on the clock for you. Father, you sent your son to save us from the penalty of our sins, so why are you still judging us? Why do you allow the nations to rule here on Earth and make it so hard to find your Kingdom? Perhaps we need a difficult path, after all, you are the one who said the gate is narrow. Father, please gather your children in your arms and protect us when your great wrath is unleashed and deliver us from the evil in this world.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who gathers His people and protects them in times of trouble.
