Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my God and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the Earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for waking me today and for blessing me with one more chance to spend time with those I love, and one more chance to be your light to the world. I pray that you grant me strength and wisdom to walk this day in your word and in your grace. May you keep me from temptation and may my spirit overcome my flesh. May your love shine through me and may there be no darkness within. Please make my waters still and grant me peace.
Father, please grant me compassion and help me to understand that all the people on this earth are your children. You are the creator of all, and not everyone is walking in your light. Please help remove the darkness from all of your children and drive the evil out of them, for they are acting on the promptings from those spirits of the flesh and they are not seeing you. I pray you move the evil out of their way and open their line of sight so they may see all your glory and majesty, all your love and goodness, all your mercies and compassion. I pray you remove the scale from their eyes so that all will turn to you and recognize you as their Father in Heaven, and the creator of all.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who created the world and all that is within, and who grants mercy and compassion to those who ask.
