Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the Earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, thank you for bringing me life and health and the ability to observe this holy day. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend time with those I love and to be your light to the world.
Thank you for blessing this world with your gift of Torah, our guide to your love. Your word shows us all your goodness and teaches us your knowledge and provide us your wisdom. Thank you for blessing me with your guide to life.
Thank you for all your wonders with which you have created the entire universe. You are our God and you are our creator, all glory goes to you for without you we would be nothing and we would have nothing. Thank you for granting us your ever loving mercy and for removing the debt of my sins. Thank you for loving me so much you gave us your only begotten son to save us and deliver us from our spiritual bondage.
We continually stray and you continually save by guiding us back on your path. Thank you for being my God and for providing for us in all abundance.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the giver of the Sabbath.
