Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and throughout the Earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for waking me this day, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world. Father, I pray you grant me the strength and wisdom to walk in your truth, to have your face before me with every thought in my head and every action I take. May I glorify your name in all I do, and may your love shine through me as this day progresses.
Thank you Father for bringing me onto this road of recovery. I pray this last bit of sickness leave my body and that through your grace and mercy I be brought back to full health.
Father, please come to the aid of those people who are held captive against their will. Those poor souls who have been taken from their homes and sold into slavery. Please grant them hope and look kindly on them. Save them, I pray, from their captors and bring freedom and peace into their lives. I also pray that you stop the division that has been festering in this great country. I beg you remove the wicked from power, and bring peace and love to this land and all the nations of the world.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who delivers us from bondage and leads us into peace.
