Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the Earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you Father for bringing me to this day, for breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world.  Father, I pray that you grant me the wisdom and strength to walk out your truth this day.  I pray you place people in my path in whose lives I may make a difference.  Please guide your children to me and allow your glory to pass through me to them.  Please Father, may I never forget your face, and may you never remove your name from my heart.

Please, if it be your will my Lord, I ask that you protect your children just as you protected Abraham from Abimelech.  You kept him safe when he was a stranger in a strange land.  You kept his family safe and even increased him.  I pray you do the same now for all your children who are strangers in a strange land.  I ask that you bring them back to you and open their hearts to your love, your truth, your mercies, and you glory.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who brings His people back to Him.
