Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been forgiving with me. Please strengthen my faith in you and help me walk on the path you have placed me on. Please guide me in my journey and I beg you never remove your face from before me.
Father, please help us. I cry out to you in my despair. The Adversary has come and has divided this once great nation. There is a generation who is haughty in their own eyes, they have no respect for authority, and they do not believe in you. They turn to violence when others disagree with them, and they call good evil, and evil good. Father, I pray for this generation, for they are lost without your spirit. Please Father, remove the scales from their eyes and remove the scoffer from their hearts. Bring them hope with your holy spirit and show them your wonders. Please forgive them my Lord for they do not know what they do. They are babes in the woods with no guidance of your wisdom or your love. But through you all things are possible. Through you they can be delivered of their sins and through you hope can once again flourish. Please save them Father, for the future of this nation is at stake.
Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who redeems his people from death.
