Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me. Father, I pray that all my weights and measures are balanced and that all my judgments are righteous. May all I do bring honor and glory to your name. Please my God, never remove your face from before me, and continue to guide me along the path you have laid out for me. May you grant me courage as I begin a new journey in my life, and with you all things will be successful.
Father, please help heal this nation. The people act like sheep and they follow the wolves. There is no righteousness in them, and they have forgotten your name. Please call them back to you, or drive them from our midst. Please do not let this country go in the way of Sodom. Please do not let us go in the way of Rome, or Greece, or any of the other empires that collapsed because of their own egos and corruption. You gave us a leader after your own heart and I beg that you are always with him and that you can guide him in all his decisions. I ask that you begin to turn those in power to listen to you and stop with all their division, for that is the work of the Enemy. Please my Lord, unite our nation under you.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who can unite our great nation under Him.
