Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been forgiving with me. Please my Lord, never remove your face from before and help me keep my faith strong. Please guide me along the path you have set for me, and may I never forget to give you all the glory for everything you have blessed me with in my life.
Father, it seems the division in this nation continues to rise. The media is controlling the minds of the people in this country and they are driving a wedge between brothers and sisters. Please my Lord, grant us mercy and defeat the enemy in our time. I beg of you to destroy the division and unite us under your righteousness. There is so much hate in this nation right now that sometimes it is hard to find the light, but with you by our side, the light will overpower the darkness. Your love will destroy the hate, and your patience will bring low the impatient. Please don't give up on us my God, free us from the bondage of hatred filling this land. Destroy the Enemy at our gates and remove the strife from our homes. Please forgive us my God, and have mercy on our souls.
Blessed are you O Lord our God, the one true living God, who shows His love for His people and grants them eternal life.
