Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been forgiving with me. Please my Lord, do not remove your face from before me and guide my steps along the path that you have carved. You are my God and may your spirit always abide within me.
Father, your greatness and wisdom are beyond compare. You set the stars on their course and you created all that is known to man. You are the first and you are the last, besides you, we have no King or Redeemer. You sent us your son to redeem us from the guilt of our sin and to show us the way to your Kingdom. You delivered us from bondage in Egypt with great wonders and a mighty hand. You gave us all your wisdom in your Torah, and you set before us blessings and curses. You promised us blessings for 1000 generation if we held fast to you, and curses if we turned away. You gave us the choice to choose life or death. My Lord, I choose life. I choose a life filled with your spirit. I choose to partake in the blessings you have set before me. Please help me walk that path and keep my feet from running to evil. You are the one true living God and in you lies all my hope and faith.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob who blesses those who have faith in Him.
