Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, this new month, and for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Please, Father, bless me with the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love. Please grant me a forgiving heart so that I may give mercy to others as freely as you have given it to me. Father, I ask that you protect me, my family, and my home from all evil and may your face never be removed from before me. Thank you for your grace, and for your mercy. Thank you for granting me eternal life through the belief and trust in you and your son.
Father, if it be your will, I pray for your comfort for the Carter family. Please ease the pain Bob is feeling, and bring peace to him and his family. Father, please bring your miracle healing powers over him and restore him to full health. Carry that family in your arms and may they see the might in your right hand. Please do what is right in your eyes and grant them mercy.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who is a merciful God.
