Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. I ask that you bless me with the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love. I pray that you grant me a forgiving heart so that I may grant mercy to others as freely as you have granted it to me. Please Father, place in me your Light so that others are drawn to your goodness, your mercy, your love, your compassion, and your wisdom. May I never forget that it is through your glory that I am who I am, and may my trust in you never waver.
Father, please help my friend understand that formal religion is not greater than the strength and wisdom of your word. You do know what is in our hearts and sometimes our hearts are hardened. But through your grace, you can remove the veil that covers our heart and free us from this life filled with the sins of the world. Through you we can be free of those chains that bind us in slavery. You are our salvation and through you we are free. Your son, Yeshua, has told us about your Kingdom, and has shown us the way to enter. Please do not keep your people out my Lord. Have mercy on them for they do not know what it is they are doing, but through your grace we can be saved.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who forgives us our sins and leads us into the promised land.
