Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for granting me the strength and wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Thank you for blessing me with a family that is filled with your love and your wisdom. Thank you for blessing me with a job where I can serve others and provide for my family. Thank you blessing me with brothers and sisters in Messiah who are so actively seeking your truth.
Thank you for creating me, and mankind my Lord. Thank you for keeping your promises to us, your servants. Thank you for saving us from a life of bondage, and helping us to remember you and your greatness. Thank you for delivering us from Egypt in with a mighty arm and a strong judgment. Thank you for the gift of your Torah, and for showing us your spirit throughout your writings. Thank you for loving me so much you gave me your son to die for my sins. I am so sorry my Lord, that I have been so guilty of my sins that I sometimes take for granted the sacrifice that you made for me. Please forgive me my pride and please keep me in your book of life.
Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
Amen!
