Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised throughout the heavens above and the earth below forever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, the 14th day of the counting of the omer, the second Sabbath of the seven. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in the world. Thank you for being in my life, and for guiding me along your path. Thank you for correcting me when I stray, and for forgiving me my shortcomings. Thank you for blessing me with a family who is full of love and compassion; a family who have good hearts and who allow your spirit to thrive.
Thank you for the gift of your Torah, your word of truth that is filled with your wisdom. Thank you for delivering us from our bondage in Egypt and leading us to the land of your promise, a land flowing with milk and honey. Thank you for loving us so much you sent your son so that we, who believe may have eternal life. Thank you for leading me to your Kingdom and for always protecting me, my family, and my home from the evil in this world.
Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
Amen!
