21 Nissan 5777

Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised throughout the heavens above and the earth below forever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this seventh day of your Feast of Unleavened Bread, this holy Sabbath Day.  Thank you for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Thank you for blessing me with a family full of love for you and love for each other, a family who loves mercy and does justly.  Thank you for blessing me with a job that allows me to provide for my family and that helps others.  Thank you for the gift of your Torah, your scriptures that contain the wisdom and truth of your spirit.  Thank you for resurrecting your Son, Yeshua, proving he is our Messiah and thank you for sitting him at your right hand.  Thank you for forgiving me my sins and for loving me with all my faults.

Father, I pray that every one of your children can feel your presence at least once in their lives.  I ask that you touch your children with your grace and open their hearts to your Holy Spirit.  You yourself said, "Seek and you shall find..." Father, your promises are never ending so I beg that you answer the prayers of those who are seeking.  On this day, so many years ago your might was witnessed by the entire nation of Israel, and the Egyptians as you parted the waters of the sea and guided your children through the waters on dry land.  You gave your special treasure a new song to sing, a song of freedom, a song of your spirit.  Father, you once delivered us with a mighty hand, and you continue to deliver us from the bondage of our sins.  Your goodness and mercies are never ending, and for this I proclaim your glory forever.

Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of our ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who completes our salvation by leading us through the waters of the sea.

Amen!
