Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below forever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, the 3rd Sabbath of the counting of the omer, the 21st day, the 7th day of the 3rd week. Thank you for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for forgiving me my sins, my shortcomings. Your mercies are never ending and full of love from your heart. Thank you for the gift of my family who are full of love and compassion. Thank you for granting me peace in my life. Thank you for guarding and protecting my wife and children, for keeping them safe and placing them on your path. Thank you for bringing people to my life who help to bring me closer to you.
Thank you for the gift of your Torah, your word that is filled with all your wisdom. Thank you for loving me so much you sent me your son who has led me to eternal life in your Kingdom, for he has brought me back to you. Thank you for giving him to us for our King and for granting him a seat at your right hand.
Your miracles are with us each and every day, and all your wondrous works surround us if we can just open our eyes. You delivered us from bondage, and led us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. You led us through the wilderness and brought us to a land flowing with milk and honey, the land you promised to our ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You are our God, the one true living God who cares for his children and grants them his Holy Spirit, so we can walk in his word and be granted the eternal promise of a life in his Kingdom.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who blesses his people with this Sabbath day.
Amen!
