Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below forever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, the 42nd day of the counting of the omer. Thank you for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Thank you for blessing me with such a wonderful family who is filled with love for you and for each other. Thank you for awaking my spirit and for calling me back to you. You have granted me a life filled with love and peace and have blessed me with a life of happiness. Thank you for saving me from a life filled with sin and darkness, and for bringing me to your light.
Father, thank you for the gift of your Torah, it contains all the wisdom you used to create the heavens and earth. Thank you for revealing to me the spirit of your wisdom which has brought so much peace into my life. Thank you for loving me so much that you gave us your only son so that I my have eternal life. Father, your wisdom is unsearchable and your strength is indeed mighty. You delivered us from the bondage of Egypt with an outstretched arm and a mighty hand. You performed mighty works and wondrous miracles and led us out of that land. You brought us to your home and gave us your Torah, a book filed with your blessings and wisdom. You led us to the land of your promise, a land flowing with milk and honey, but it was not our time to enter that land. You led us on a journey in the wilderness until the appointed time, and then you held back the waters of the Jordan and allowed us to cross over into your Kingdom. Father, you are so merciful and full of grace, you are so wise and loving - I am truly blessed.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who blesses us with this Sabbath day.
Amen!
