Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below forever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, the 45th day of the counting of the omer. Thank you for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Please Father, grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as you have been with me. Thank you for blessing me with the life that I have and for calling me back to you. I pray you never remove your face from before me and that my life is in your hands.
Father, please help heal this nation and remove evil from this land. Please stop the Adversary from spreading his lies which divide this country. Please open the hearts of all the people so that they may recognize you and turn to you for their salvation. Father, you delivered your people, my ancestors from the hard bondage they endured in Egypt and brought them to the land of your promise, a land flowing with milk and honey. With an out-stretched arm and a mighty hand you delivered us to freedom and a life filled with blessings. All we had to do was to follow you, believe in you, and obey you. But our ancestors erred and turned away from you. They followed other gods and they profaned your name. But, in your goodness and in your mercy, you forgave us and found a way for us to return to you, and when we did, you returned to us. Father, may we never lose sight of your face again. May we never forget that you are our God who delivered us out of the land of Egypt to be our God. May we always remember that through your Son, we have been brought back to you, and have been granted eternal life.
Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who holds fast to His promises and His love for His people.
Amen!
