17 Iyyar 5777

Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your Holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below forever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath Day, the 28th day of the Counting of the Omer, the 4th Sabbath of the counting of 7 Sabbaths.  Thank you for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Thank you for granting me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love.  Thank you for the gift of your Torah and thank you for loving me so much that you forgive me of my short-comings and you continue to let me live in your Kingdom.

Father, thank you for comforting me when I need an ear to listen to me, and thank you for blessing me every day.  You have been so kind to me my Lord, you have granted me a place in your Kingdom, and have written me in your Book of Life.  Thank you for bringing Kim into my life and for leading me back to you. You are truly a merciful and loving God, and you are the One true living God who created all.

Blessed are you O Lord our God the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who listens to those who call to him and who blesses us with this Sabbath day.

Amen!
