Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised throughout the heavens above and the earth below forever and ever.
Thank you for giving me life this day, for blessing me with one more chance to spend time with those I love and to be your light unto the nations. Thank you for all your revelations and your gift of the Holy Spirit. May you continue to use your Holy Spirit to lead me through my life, and please, if it be your will, grant me the wisdom to always follow you - no matter where it is you lead me.
Father, please, I beg you help those folks who are lying hungry and homeless throughout the world. There are people who are eating mud - your earth - for their meals and they do not get the nutrition they need. Please send them help, send them teachers to show them how to work your land, to show them how to prop themselves up. Send them water - so they may live - and bread so they may grow strong. You are their hope, and I pray that they all turn their eyes, ears and hearts to you my God so you may answer them in their time of need.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who protects the needy with His love and grace.
