Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my God and may your name be praised forever and ever.
Thank you for waking me to this beautiful day. Thank you for breathing life into my soul and for keeping me in covenant with you. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love, and to be your light to the nations.
Father, please protect us from the evil in this world. Have mercy on your children and please bring your lost sheep home. I pray you open the eyes of those who do not see, and unplug the ears of those who do not hear. Let your word ring out throughout the land and draw your people near. Father, I beg you to not remove your face from in front of us and guide us always in your love, in your truth and in your light.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who protects us from evil with his mighty arms.
