Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you and may your name be praised forever and ever.
Thank you Father for bringing me to this day and for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for the blessing of a loving and supporting family. With you, and them I shall never be alone. I am so grateful to you for looking kindly on me and for providing me with all that is in my life.
Father, I pray that you keep me strong during these uncertain times. There are so many political battles going on in our State and I just pray that you guide the hands of those with righteous thoughts to do the right thing and not negate all the time I've given to this State. Please let me continue to work and to be able to retire with my pension. However, if it is your will that this not happen, then I accept that you are in charge and that you will lead me to the places you want me to be. I trust in You, my God, with all my heart and my soul and whatever direction you lead, I will follow. Your truth, your wisdom, and your blessings are my reward.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who leads where He wants us to be and not necessarily where we want to be.
