Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below forever and ever.
Thank you for giving me life on this day, for giving me one more chance to spend time with those I love and to be your light to the nations. Thank you for all your grace and mercy and for the gift of your Son who brought me back to you, your wisdom and your righteousness.
Father, please help the innocent souls who are being kidnapped and used for slaves all over this world. They were taken from their comfort, from their security, and from their lives without their consent. They were captured and now are at the mercy of men. I pray you reach out your mighty hand and save these men, women and children. Please bring them back to their homes and bring peace into their lives. For too long it has been the ones who can brutalize another that winds up controlling the lives of others, but you can put a stop to it. You can lay low the wicked, you can free these folks from their slavery and send them home to people who love them. Please don't lose sight of the innocent and bring them home, just as you are bringing your children home to you.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who saves the innocent with His great works and wondrous mercy.
