Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below forever and ever.
Thank you for blessing me with life today, for giving me one more chance to spend time with those I love and to be your light to the nations. Thank you for all your wondrous works and the beauty of your wisdom and your truth. Please grant me the wisdom and the strength to keep your commands and resist temptation. I pray you remove the snares from my life and keep your face in front of me forever.
Father, please end the divisions that exist in this world, and more specifically in this country. Has our country ever been united? I like to think so, but there always seems to be this sliver of division, and now that sliver has grown to a great canyon, a great divide. Please heal us Father, please grant us unity and lets start lifting each other up instead of putting each other down. I beg you put respect for others into the hearts of all of us. I have faith in you my Lord that you can do this. My faith lies in you my God, and no matter what happens in this world, you are my peace.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who unites us under his love, his statutes, his judgments, and his commands.
