Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised forever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for blessing me with one more opportunity to be with those I love, and to spread your love throughout this world. Thank you for your gift of Torah, my Tree of Life, and thank you for your gift of your Holy Spirit who keeps me pinned to your word.
Father, please protect us and guard us from the evil of the land. It seems as if people have so lost their way that life is of no importance to them. They have strayed from your word and have followed their own heart. I pray you have mercy on their souls for they know no better. The people are being snared by the lifting up of the flesh, and a putting down of the spirit. Their hearts are haughty and they care only for themselves and not for others. On top of all this, the government wants to step in and control all aspects of life. You would think they would learn from history how that will turn out, for you, my God are our Kind. You graciously saved us, yet once again your children rebel. Please Father, keep your face among us and help us turn the nations to you once more.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who protects us from the proud in heart and who keeps temptation far from us.
