22 Shevat 5777

Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your glorious and holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Father, I am so grateful to you for all your gracious and glorious mercy, and for forgiving me the penalty of my sins.  Thank you for blessing me with the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love.  Thank you for giving me all the opportunities I've had in life, and for bringing me to this home of happiness and peace.  Thank you for blessing me with a home filled with love for you and love for one another.  Thank you for blessing me with a job that allows me to provide for those around me, a job that has meaning in the wold.  Thank you for the gift of serving on the Board of Directors of an organization that helps so many people who have struggles and trials in life.

Thank you for blessing your people with the gift of your Torah, our tree of life and your truth.  The Torah which contains all the knowledge we need to know, and it gives us the wisdom to be able to live a life dedicated you.  How glorious is your word, my Lord, how glorious is your name?  You are the first and you are the last, you have redeemed us through your son, our Messiah, Yeshua.  You have given him to us so that we me live.  You have risen him to your right hand to lead us in an eternal life filled with your light, your love, and your peace.  How great thou are, the creator of all life.

Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, who blesses his children with the gift of this Sabbath day.

Amen!
