8 Shevat 5777

Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world.  Thank you for bringing me Kim, my love and my wife.  She is such a blessing Father, she has led me you.   Thank you for blessing me with 3 wonderful sons who are all good and kind, full of love, and hearts of mercy.  Thank you for providing for all our needs, a job that has important work and helps keep many people safe.  Thank you for the opportunity to serve at Trinity Services and for the chance to make a difference.  Thank you for protecting us from the evil in this world, and from the evil spirits that want to move us away from you.

Thank you for the gift of your Torah, my Tree of Life.  It contains all the wisdom that comes from you, and reveals the spirit of our Messiah, Yeshua, your begotten son.  The Torah is your truth, and your truth is our truth.  By following your words we show our faith in you.  You are the first and you are the last.  You are our King and our Redeemer.  You have brought us our Counselor and through him we have been saved.  Thank you for the sacrifice you made for us, and for showing us how we should love our children and each other.  You are truly a might God, filled with glory and grace, love and patience, who blesses His people with all the fruits of His Spirit.  Glory Glory Glory are you, our God, the Lord of Hosts, for your will be done throughout this earth as it has been done in heaven.

Blessed are you O Lord our God, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob who gives us this Sabbath day as a sign of His love for us.

Amen!
