Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. May you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word today, and to spread your love.
Father, please stop the evil that has blemished the beautiful world you created. The people have transgressed your laws, and they have turned away from your face. They have created a world as it was in the days of Noah where everyone is doing right in their own eyes, where they bow down to the things you've created rather than recognizing you, the one who created them. They worship false gods that give them no profit, and they have lives buried in debt and misery. But they still refuse to turn to you my Lord. Please remove the scales from their eyes, and open their hearts to your truth and your mercy. Please teach them your ways and lead them from the bondage they have placed themselves in. Save them my Lord and bring them peace.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who grants us mercy through His love and His grace.
