Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. I ask that you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to spread your love. I pray that you protect me, my family, and my home from evil, and that you drive temptation from our lives. May your face never leave me, and may you make all of my paths straight. Please Father, grant me a calming spirit, and a spirit of forgiveness, so that I may freely give mercy to others as you have given it to me.
I pray that you keep us safe in our travels today, and that you guide the hands of the pilots, the baggage handlers, the security staff, and the counter agents so that we will have a smooth day in the airport, and that we are delivered home safely.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who protects His children and grants them safe journey.
