Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Please grant me the wisdom and the strength to walk in your word. Please grant me a forgiving heart so that I may be merciful to others as you are to me. Please place balanced weights and scales in my bag so that when I judge I judge fairly and with righteousness. Please protect me, my family, and my home from evil, and drive temptation from our lives. All glory in this world and in the heavens belong to you my Lord. You are our salvation and our rock.
Father, please bless our friends who come and study your word with us, and who fellowship with us in brotherhood and sisterhood in your name. I pray that you protect them from the evil in this world and that you make their paths straight and peaceful. Please grant them strength and wisdom to build a joyous and peaceful home in which your spirit will dwell with them forever.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who guards and protects His people in His love.
