Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you Father for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light to the world. Please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word, and to forgive others in mercy. Please grant me a forgiving heart and guide me to use it freely.
Father, please watch over and protect Kim and Josh as they travel today. May you protect them and guard them, may you make their journey easy and uneventful. May you bring them to their destination in good spirits and in safety. My trust lies in you my Lord and through you all things are possible.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who guards us and protects us from evil and unrighteousness.
