Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and to be your light to the world. I pray you grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to speak your truth.
Father, I pray you forgive me my transgressions, and ask for your mercies to come upon me. Please protect me from evil and drive temptation out of my life. I ask that you place a forgiving heart within me so that I too may be merciful to those who have transgressed against me. Please guide me along your path and reveal to me my purpose in this world, then I ask you grant me the wisdom to fulfill that purpose. You are indeed the creator of all things and without you we wouldn't even be dust. You gave us life, and we are your glory, so help turn us around Father, and may every person on earth bring glory to your name.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who created the heavens and the earth, and all that is within.
