Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day, the second day of Sukkot, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love.  Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me.  Father, I beg you never remove your face from before me, and please continue to guide my steps along the path you have set for me.  Father, may your glory lead my way and may you continue to anoint me in your holy spirit for all eternity.

Father, I ask that you place in my heart the answers to the questions I have.  I look to you for guidance with a decision I must make, and pray that your guidance will lead me on your path.  Father, there is great opportunity and saying yes would be a true blessing to be able to see your world.  But saying no would also be acceptable for it will be from you.  Father, your light shall always lead my way and your guidance keeps my feet from turning to the left and the right.  You continue to lead me in your light, and whichever answer you place upon my spirit, is an answer I shall most gratefully accept.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who leads us in the direction he desires us to travel.

Amen!
