Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill me with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as freely as you have been forgiving with me. Please my God, never remove your face from before me and guide my steps along your path. Please bring me to your Kingdom and set a place for me at your table. You are my God and I am your servant, and with you, all things are possible.
Father, you glory is everlasting, from sunup to sunup you comfort me. You set your path at my feet and cause my legs to move. Your wisdom stops me from turning to the right and to the left. Your light guides me at all times and your glory leads my way. You are the first and you are the last, you are my Redeemer and my King. You have called me to your covenant and you have forgiven my sins so that they are remembered no more. You are truly a merciful and loving God who remembers his promises and fulfills them all in your time. Thank you for taking notice of me and helping me find peace in my soul and love in my heart.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who sets our feet on our course and lights our way with his glory.
