Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day the sixth day of Sukkot, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving to others just as freely as you have been forgiving with me. Father, may you never remove your face from before me. May you always guide my steps along the path you have set, and may your glory never leave my side.
Father, please help heal this great nation that was founded in your name. Please end the division that is so unnecessary and silly. We are all your children. We all look to you as our Father. Yes we may look different from each other, but we all have your spirit within us. We have you to guide us, and the only difference is that some can't let your light in, so I beg you my Lord to split that veil that covers the hearts of your children. I pray that your light lessens the darkness in all those souls who do not yet know your glory. Please Father, call your children and let your light shine like a beacon on a mountaintop. Let your glory lead our way to eternal life in your Kingdom.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who leads us from the wilderness into a land flowing with milk and honey.
Amen!
