Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love.  Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me.  Father, I pray that you fill me with a spirit of patience so that my spirit may be calm at all times and filled with your peace.  I ask that you never remove your face from before me and that you continue to guide my steps along the path you have set.  Thank you for molding me into the person that I am and may my service to you be acceptable to you and my fellow man.

Father, please watch over your children in these dangerous times we are living.  Please do not let this be the last generation of mankind, please provide a future for my children and their children.  Your glory is everlasting my Lord and your mercies are never ending.  You delivered us from evil and brought us to a land that you promised to our ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey.  You set our camps there and gave us a home.  Yet, our hearts remained hard time after time and you set your judgments upon our fathers, your treasure, Israel.  Through your mercy however, you brought your people back to the land time and time again.  You are a loving God, full of mercy and grace, full of patience and love.  Through your wisdom you spoke everything into existence and raised up both the wicked and the righteous.  Father, the wicked is now overpowering the land, and I ask that you continue to keep you hedge of protection over all your children whom you love.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who protects His people with His Glory and His Grace.

Amen!
