Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world. Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love. Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me. Please pour your patience into my soul so that I too may be slow to anger just as you are. Father, I pray with all my heart that you never remove your hedge of protection over me and my family. Please continue to guard us and protect us from the evil in this world and keep us safe during your judgments. Father, may you never remove your face from before me and may you continue to guide my steps along the path you have set.
Father, please bring our great nation back to its roots, a nation that is devoted to you. Please heal the division that the Adversary has sown among our people and let us look at, and work with, those things we have in common instead of focusing on our differences. You created the good and the wicked. You guide the steps of each, opening the heart of one, and hardening the heart of the other. You use the wicked to bring the righteous back to you. Father, all glory goes to you. You are the first and you are the last. You have redeemed me from the world of flesh and brought me into your Kingdom filled with your spirit. You have delivered me from the bondage of sin and freed me in your son, Yeshua. You are an amazing God, full of grace and love, slow to anger and just in your judgments. Everything in this physical universe is your creation and nothing moves without your input. Father, I just want to thank you for taking notice of me and my loved ones in this vast product of your creation, and I pray for you mercy daily.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who opens the hearts of his children and calls them home to him.
Amen!
