23 Tishrei 5778

Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your holy name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this day, for waking me and breathing life into my soul.  Thank you for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more chance to be your light in this world.  Father, please grant me the strength and the wisdom to walk in your word and to show your love.  Please fill my heart with mercy so that I may be forgiving with others just as you have been forgiving with me.  Father, I beg you never remove your face from before me.  May you always be my light and my strength.  May my service be acceptable to you.  Father, I pray that I may be righteous in your sight, and may I bring honor and glory to your name.

Father, you are the first and you are the last.  Besides you we have no King or Redeemer.  You have set your Son over us and through him we have learned how to walk in your Kingdom.  We have learned how your Torah points to him and glorifies him.  Father, you healed us through him, you redeemed us through him, and you have granted us a covenant through him.  Father, you are truly full of love and grace, you are slow to anger and full of compassion.  You forgive us when we fall, and you lift us up in your spirit.  I am so grateful that you have come into my life, thank you for calling me to you.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who calls those whom he chooses.

Amen!
