Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my God and may your name be praised for ever and ever.
Thank you for your gift of life today, for blessing me with one more day to spend with those I love and one more day to be your light to the world. May your light shine through me like a sun, may all that your spirit has to offer flow through my soul and may you provide me with the strength and the wisdom to give that light to others as freely as you have given it to me.
Father, please, as you continue to sort through the chaff and the wheat, may you spare those of us who turn to you the sadness of it all. Father, the world has turned their face on you, mankind no longer wants to believe in your truth, and other than a few of us, I believe they are more interested in their own gains rather than walking in your righteousness.
Father, I beg you to continue to guide me and move me towards your light. I ask that you spare my children and open their eyes to your goodness. I ask that you spare my family who don't truly know you from the pit you have laid out for the wicked. Please forgive them and let them bask in your glory. For you are the creator of all, and it is through you that all things are possible. You have blessed us with another chance to be your bride, and you have sacrificed too much for that to happen. I am grateful to you my Lord that you have opened my eyes and blessed me with your mercy.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who separates the holy from the sinful through His righteous judgments.
