9 Adar-2 5776

Dear Heavenly Father,

Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.

Thank you for bringing me to this Sabbath day, and thank you for blessing me with one more chance to spend time with those I love, and to be your light to the nations.

Thank you for all your grace, your love, your mercy, and your compassion.  Thank you for bringing me into your life and for opening my heart to your spirit.  Thank you for blessing me with a wife who is dedicated to you, and for my children who teach me how much my actions matter more than my words.  Father, your wisdom is beyond compare and I am humbled that you have chosen me as your special treasure.

Thank you for your wisdom, for you gift of our Torah.  Thank you for revealing the truth within and for all your wondrous miracles that you perform every day.  Thank you for delivering us up from bondage and for always keeping your promises.  Thank you for my history and for the blessings you have shown my family from generation to generation.

Thank you for loving me so much that you sent your Son to die for me.  You removed my iniquity through Him and made Him my King and my savior.  Yeshua, thank you for the sacrifices you made for me, and for teaching me how to walk in our Father's word, how to be righteous, show compassion, and how to humble myself.  Your courage and and your wisdom are my path, and I am ever grateful to you.

Thank you for blessing us with this Sabbath day.  For you created the heavens above and the earth below and all that is within in six days, but on the seventh day you rested from all the work which you had done.  You blessed the seventh day and declared it Holy, because on it you rested from all the work that you had done.  You commanded us to keep this day holy, so that we shall always remember that you are our God and we are your people.

Blessed are you O Lord our God who is my comfort, my strength, my guide, and my salvation.

Amen!
