Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my God and may your name be praised for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day today, for breathing life into my soul. Thank you for blessing me with one more chance to be with those I love and to be your light to the world. Thank you for loving me so much that you have given me the gift of your Holy Spirit, and it is in that spirit that I pray I walk all the day of my life.
Father, please protect me, my family and my home from the evil that has multiplied throughout this world. Indeed these days seem as though they are the same as in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, and that people feel that they can just do whatever they want without any consequences. But I know of your wrath and your judgments. I know what you did to those cities of old, how you destroyed them for their sin. Father, I know your destruction is coming, and I beg you protect us and keep us far from that judgment. I pray you drive the temptation from us and grant us the wisdom to build a home where your spirit will always abide.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who judges the world with His righteousness.
