Dear Heavenly Father,
Praised are you my Lord and may your name be praised in the heavens above and on the earth below for ever and ever.
Thank you for bringing me to this day, for granting me another day of life, another day to spend with those I love and another day to be your light to the world. Father, I pray your face never leaves me, and that you continue to make my crooked paths straight. I ask that you grant me my daily bread and fill me with your wisdom and your righteous ways. I ask that you guide my thoughts and my works on this day and most importantly, I pray with all my heart that your love shines through me today and may no darkness cover my spirit.
Father, please help those people who are crying out to you right now. There are people at their lowest point in life and they need your help and your mercy. Please Father, grant them forgiveness and lift them out of the pit and reunite them with you. I pray you give them strength and courage to lift them out of their bondage and that you guide them to your Kingdom. Let the pit be for the wicked and not for those who repent and turn back towards you. You are our salvation, and you are our hope.
Blessed are you O Lord our God who delivers His children from bondage and blesses them with His presence.
